18th Century Boiserie from a French Chateau, Complete Room

Rarely does such a complete and well preserved Louis XV French paneled boiserie - master bedroom and sitting room - survive. These exceptional room structures include ten painted panels with classical Italian scenes, plus columns, and capitals, French doors, large mirror framed with acanthus leaves, cherub head and flowers and two ceiling domes with floral garlands. The motif of the painted panels with cherubs, ribbons and garlands are a contemporary to the panels from the Hotel-De-Crillion Paris, circa 1758.

The paneled rooms were purchased in France in the 1960s and were reconfigured for an American home. Now removed and are available for a new installation. Call for more information and pictures
